Deka-. The Greek word (or 'deca' in Latin) for the 'combining form for ten'. As in decapod, decathlon, dekametre. This album has ten tracks, published in the tenth month of the year. It's a tribute to the tenth birthday of Creative Commons. This is our gift to the movement. We hope the Creative Commons movement spreads in continuous multiples of tens.

We have a like-minded musical friend on this album, who hails from the other side of the globe from where we live. Our friend prefers to go by the enigmatic moniker, urmymuse ccmixter.org/people/urmymuse/profile. Thanks for accompanying us on this postrock-ish trip.

This is the band's 6th self-produced music album. Starfish Stories :: The Band comprises of three Singaporeans who have non-musical day jobs and a passion for producing their own brand of music.
