about

Adrian: "For me this song is about eternity and wanting to spend that eternity with someone or some people. Never wanting it to end. About a longing even though the other person is right in front of you. Clinging on to a moment but realising that the moment passes on and that we catch the next passing moment... and realising that time is passing but yet if we travel from moment to moment, we cling on less to each moment but flow from each moment to another mindfully and then time brings us to each beautiful moment, and life and the passage of time becomes more meaningful. While it may sound less cheery, I think it its a meditative recoil." ~ 26 Dec 2011

urmymuse: "I researched "Post Rock" (not a term I had heard before) by the modern method of google leads to Wikipeadia - I find that many elements of it are right up my street - chiefly minimalistic, droneology, textural, and leaning toward the ethereal... Ta for sending thru "Waterdrop". I have had a good few listens and here are my thoughts. Very good stab at the post rock genre. The sparse piano at the begining is great - almost Harold Budd-esque, which for me is a good thing. Makes me think of melting ice (waterdrops and all that)." ~ 29 Dec 2011

Ivan: "Back in 22 Dec 2011, Adrian first emailed me a guitar stem, with a short blurb on what the piece was about. He wrote, 'This is about the ephemeral existence we have and finding meaning in the moment, in things we do and struggling to find meaning in our lives.' Adrian also asked me to do a delicate piano piece in the background or as the second part to this song. So I tried something on Piano, and it eventually became this track."
